Dr. Noah Federman, M.D.

Dr. Federman is Director of the Pediatric Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcoma Program at UCLA, which is a component of the UCLA Sarcoma Program, UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA. Dr. Federman is also an assistant professor of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology whose speciality is the treatment of children, adolescents and young adults with aggressive bone and soft tissue cancers. He runs an incredibly comprehensive and multidisciplinary program involving pediatric and medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, orthopedic oncology surgeons, musculoskeletal radiologists and pathologists, nuclear medicine specialists, physical therapists and prosthetic specialists.

Dr. Federman also specializes in the conduct of clinical trials, leading an experienced clinical research team devoted to providing access to clinical trials for children with refractory, recurrent and metastatic cancers. In the laboratory, Dr. Federman is helping to develop new nanotechnology targeted therapies for these often fatal cancers in children with the ultimate goal of translating these discoveries into clinical care to that will yield benefits to patients in real time.
